Waste or co-products: iron oxide sludges, scales, blasting shots, fines…
Origins: foundries, metal industries, carbon (eg. Graphite)
The recovery and treatment of fines are not always easy due to their various grain size and composition. However the experience shows that the processing can be envisaged.
One of the proposed solutions is the agglomeration according a shape index, a mechanical strength and a determined composition in order to become a secondary raw material.
These competences require specific know-hows on the upstream market of waste and co-products, but also on the downstream market and the ways to obtain a secondary raw materials.
For instance, it is possible to produce carbon briquettes from fines and carbon grains, which composition enables foundries to reuse them.
